My Filofax Week # 36

This week was nice and productive.
First of all I wanted to mention that my giveaway has now closed.
The winner was @sassysally12 on Instagram!
Now onto week #36 here in my Kikki-K planner!
Starting the week off with a holiday is always nice. Though I actually had to work on labor day - ironic to say the least. I didn't mind.
I used my new Freckled Fawn multi-colored airmail washi (love!) to reinforce the pages. It made me so happy just looking at it. In addition, I used a Kikki-K cloud post-it to denote Monday's holiday, and a Mara-Mi chevron post-it to write down the giveaway winner's address.
I have been moving away from pastels in my planner for the past two weeks. Just exploring...
This week I started reading Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides - an interesting read. I hope to get it finished by next week, as I have  a stack of books waiting to be read. Here's to another fabulously organized and pretty week.
I'll leave you with this pretty piece of inspiration from Julia Child. Art is by the lovely FoodLovesWritingShop.

  2. This is such a great idea for a post, you've made me want to get my planner out again! I have heard that Middlesex is a very interesting read, I look forward to hearing what you think!

  3. Do you decorate as you go or plan our your weekly spreads in advance? You`ve convinced me to get the mint binder. So cute!

    1. Yes and no. I plan in advance usually on my Month on 2 page spread, and then I write in erasable ink what needs to happen in a particular week (big events, unchanging/standing appointments) in the week on 2 pages. THEN I decorate on a weekly basis. Usually someday between sunday-wednesday I deco for the week. I hope this helps ^.^ x

    1. I believe it's one of these: Kikki-K everyday Gel Pen or Frixion Ball Knock 0.5mm erasable pen. x

  5. I seriously need those chevron post-it notes in my life! I am loving anything chevron print at the moment!

How is your kikki k planner holding up? Last hardbound planner I bought from there all the gold lettering started flaking off - It is the only reason why I haven't bought one yet, doesn't stop me from stalking them each time I go to my locally shopping centre. (I think the staff think I have mental issues lol)

    1. I love it thus far, absolutely over the moon with it! It's holding up nicely since I don't take her out too often. I will keep you updated on how it goes through the months.
If I had a Kikki K near me I'd A) be an employee and B) their best customer. They'd KNOW I had mental issues. XD
